Christmas is one of the most important days on the Christian calendar with millions around the world acknowledging and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. The tradition of gathering together to usher in the start of Christmas Day has been honoured by the Christian Family Centre for many years. Candlelight and a string ensemble are used to create an atmosphere conducive to worship as we share communion and sing carols together. Time is taken to explain the importance of Christ's birth to every individual and how Jesus is still the hope of the world.
If attending church on Christmas Day is a problem for you then the Watchnight Service on Christmas Eve is a great way of ensuring that you're in church at this important time of year. This service attracts many guests and is well worth attending if you've never been to a night-time service at Christmas. 11pm-12am.
