At the Christian Family Centre, we know the value of children having a creative outlet. That's why we did something creative of our own and formed the "Creative Arts Academy" in 1998, now flourishing under the guidance of qualified music teacher Peter Gillard (Dip. T) and his 18 years of experience with the Education Department.
The academy has now grown to about 350 students with about 20 experienced teachers teaching everything from singing to saxophone. Twice a year, we like to give the students a chance to "show their stuff" and share their gifts with family and friends and perhaps those hoping to spot our next Australian Idol contestant!
Three concerts will be held this Christmas with each performance a different showcase of music and dance. It's a great opportunity to encourage the young artists of our community and support their dedicated teachers. 7pm-9pm. Entry is free.
